Now under new ownership, the store enters a thoughtful new chapter — building on its foundations while gently reshaping its direction with a refined, design-led perspective.
Our owner has long been drawn to the way homes evolve over time, how spaces layer, soften and shift with the seasons. Equipped with experience managing a large retail store in Mount Barker and lessons learned through interior design studies, she brings both a creative eye and a practical understanding of what customers are looking for.
Just as importantly, Samara is a wife, mother, daughter and friend, someone who understands how real homes function and how life is actually lived within them. Agavē Design & Living is being carefully reimagined to reflect that lived experience — a place where interiors, garden pieces, fashion and everyday objects come together, curated for beauty, usefulness and longevity.
While deeply rooted in the Adelaide Hills, we are now also online — connecting with a broader community whose lives may stretch beyond one postcode, but who share a similar appreciation for considered living.
